Megumi Horiuchi | ​堀内 恵

Dancer / Choreographer  

Born in 1993, Kyoto, Japan.

Megumi Horiuchi started dancing and learning jazz, classical ballet, house, modern, and hip-hop at Osaka College of Dance and Acting in Japan. After graduating, she worked at Universal Studios Japan as a parade dancer. After that she went to New York to study abroad to learn contemporary dance at Peri Dance Capezio Center for two years. At the same time she received a scholarship to Jennifer Muller/ The Works. Now contemporary and the Muller technique make up her dance style and she started doing film photography work since 2016. It's important work for her to how to capture the moment and how to connect space (room) and dance. She strives to find new expressions about the relationship between dance and space.




その後、2年間ニューヨークのPeri Dance Capezio Centerに留学。

留学中に<Jennifer Muller/The Works>の特待生となりMullerテクニックを学ぶ。

また、多くのイベントにて作品に参加、 自作品の発表を行う。日本に帰国後ニューヨークで学んだモダンダンス、コンテンポラリーダンスをベースに自分のスタイルを追求している。
